How do I get to Paddo Bowls?
Please click here for location and directions.
Is there a dress code at The Paddington Bowling Club?
No. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. The only rule we have is that you must be barefoot on the greens.
What shoes can I wear when bowling?
It is always suggested that you get into the Paddo style and play barefoot on the greens! It is all about the grass between your toes and a drink in your hands! But for those people out there who aren't true blue AUSSIE'S, then you are welcome to wear any flat soled shoes (thongs, sneakers etc). High heels are strictly forbidden (not to mention uncomfortable and bad for your back!!) In the warmer months we do suggest wearing your Ugg boots to keep your tootsie's warm!
What happens if it rains?
In the event of rain it is advised that you call the club after 10.00am to be notified of the course of action. It does have to be very heavy rain before we cancel the bowling, if it is only light showers in the morning the greens are fine to be played on by the afternoon. Please see Terms & Conditions for further details
If any catering has been ordered with the club, this cannot be cancelled, even if it rains. Please come along anyway and enjoy your food, you are welcome to reschedule the bowls to another day if need be.
How do I pay for my function/Bowls?
We accept all forms of payment - Cash, Cheque, EFT or Credit Card (VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, DINERS). Please note that a surcharge is payable when you pay by credit card. We are an AMEX preferred supplier.
All payments must be made on the day of the function or before hand. Payment cannot be made after the function under any circumstances.
Will I receive a tax invoice?
All corporate groups will receive a tax invoice. Simply let us know 5 minutes before leaving the Paddington Bowling Club and we will close your bar tab, finalise your invoice and arrange payment.
Private groups will receive a formal tax invoice on request.
